Chocolate factory

The Chocolate Factory has traditionally been a chocolate processing factory and, since 2014, has been home to the Gouda City Library, the Midden-Holland Regional Archives, the Gouda Printing Workshop, and Kruim - food & drink. The Chocolate Factory is an inspiring and dynamic environment where there is always something to do and discover. Where we love to share our knowledge and collection. A place where knowledge and craftsmanship meet, where you enjoy being, where you experience the past and future, hear stories from others, and discover new perspectives. So that you ultimately develop new knowledge. Craftsmanship, as it should be in a factory. Watch a film about the Chocolate Factory here. Come and see, read, share, and enjoy special encounters, rich history, and cultural activities. It's all possible. Yes, even tasting. The aromatic coffee and tasty dishes from Kruim. While the children look for a book or discover the wonders of language in the Youth Workshop.
