Schep dairy and cheese farm

We are Jaap Schep and Rianne de Wit. Together with our children Tim (21) and Eva (18), we live and work on our own farm, Schep Dairy and Cheese Farm, in Bergambacht. Our farm is home to dairy cows and young cattle. We use the milk to make the most delicious Gouda cheese according to a family recipe. We are proud to announce that on January 16, 2017, we won the Midden Holland 2017 Entrepreneur Award in the SME category. Previously, we received the Golden Cheese Slice Trophy Boerenkaas Cum Laude 2010 for the most delicious farm cheese in the Netherlands. In 2022, we won the national Cum Laude cheese competition organized by the Bond van Boerderijzuivel (Farm Dairy Association) with our nut cheese. In 2019, our mature cheese was awarded the gold label. And in 2020, we received the silver label for our mature cheese and buttermilk. So it's no surprise that many people make a detour to visit our shop!
